The Malaysian Tale

Updated: Dec 12, 2018

As I landed in Malaysia along with my friends, I realized that it was not so much different from my country and just like India, one has to get closely acquainted with the traditions, lifestyles and understand people to have a memorable experience. There’s nothing the country doesn’t possess to qualify for a great tourist spot, equipped with luxurious malls, restaurants, nightlife, amusement parks, etc, etc. To top it all, one of the most popular destinations include Twin towers and KL tower, Malaysia’s biggest assets and Genting Highlands which is well-known as First World Plaza and is located on a high altitude in one of the prominent cities of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia’s history includes many invasions from different countries and regions, whose impact has maybe resulted Malaysia to be a multi-religion country comprising Islam, Chinese and Hindu. Even with the existence of diverse cultures, there exists no discrimination among the religions. They co-exist with peace and harmony and respect and value each other’s believes and practices. They all recognize themselves as 1 Malaysia and believe in a one-nation policy.

The people are extremely friendly and welcoming and make the country a lovely host for the tourists. Also, they are known for their skills and discipline who take their work and duty quite seriously. For instance, during my stay in Malaysia, I happened to visit the Pewter industry where I learned how the beautiful products and sculptures are created out of Pewter. The employees who work in the industry are exceptionally skillful and value every small detail.

Malaysia is also very goal-oriented and has progressed immensely over the years. Their flag itself represents the sign of moving forward. They have designed a blueprint for their country on which the people promise to build their dreams and keep their nation moving forward.

The overall experience of Malaysia has been colourful, extraordinary and the one which can’t be forgotten even after leaving the country.
